Lotus 340R to get a hardtop
Well, apparently someone decided that the 340R was just too damned hardcore for them, so they went and made this thing:
Here's the blurb on PH http://pistonheads.com/lotus/default.asp?storyId=13712
I think it's ugly as hell but has some weird sexiness to it too...whatever.
edit: fixed.

It is ugly, i'm really just curious how the doors work. Basically just how the heck does he get in?

I like the 340R - but it seems a very expensive car to run (read the evo fast fleet for some eye watering bills) - the hardtop detracts from the experience really - i'm not sure you'd take a 340R out in the rain with or without a roof :bah:

I doubt it is driveable in rain anyway if you look at the profile of those tires.
