Default 2.000th Post - Fuck the London Eye, I'm JW Member!

right, today it's exactly 2 years and 2 months since I'm here and I managed to send 2.000 post (sometimes pretty useless ). I'd like to thank ARMAN to bring me to this world, Jabba, TT, Dan (for the past) and all of you guys here, who make the best and biggest car family in the world!

so what's my contribution? you already could see it in my sig for some time... I was in London on tuesday 21.2., just because of this post . If I should describe London these days, I'd say: on the posh places like around Harrods, Sloane street, Park Lane etc, there's 99% of cars only S-Klasses, 7 series, Phantoms (really a lot of them!!!), Conti GTs, Flying Spurs, Quattroportes and only sometimes you can spot some sportscar, mostly Ferrari

well, I should shut up and put the pics to the ring... just want to say it was bloody cold and cloudy weather, so most of "drive-by" shots are strongly non sharp, but I tried to oversharpen them, so they look quite nice imo . the same goes for my polarizer, which starts to pissing me off :x on some pics you can see slightly different colour :bah: time to look around for some hoya stuff

I missed many cars - they were to fast to shoot them, especially British Racing Green Jag XJ220 and Cayenne Gemballa

ENJOY!!!

Aston Martin - nearly all of them were spotted straight after leaving train station - I felt like in heaven, when I saw my first old V8

DB7 Vantage/ Volante

DB9 / Volante

V8
**

V8 Vantage

Audi Quattro / RS4 - the owner of the RS4 came out of the shop, got sooo close to me and kept asking, if I need some help. I asked him if it's ok to take some pics and he like "why", so I told him "just look at it, it's gorgeous!"... he didn't believe me it's for myself and was still stupidly smiling at me like he wants to chop my head off  so I just told him "congrats for your ride" and went away... fool
**

Conti GT / Flying Spur - I was taking pics of M3 and when I wanted "shoot", something just passed in front of my camera with the unusual noise. so I look behind the car and it was Flying Spur. I could only zoom on it and shoot it on the junction...
***

BMW E46 M3
*

BMW E60 M5
**

combo shots: SL, Phantom, M5, DB9, S-Klasse, H2 - so which would you have today?
*

Ferrari 612 - red one from TT's land
*

Ferrari F355 F1 Berlinetta / GTS
**

Ferrari F360 Modena - this yellow beautie was in the side street, I could only zoom on the max and shoot. when I took the pic, he got lost (mind that green DB7 in the back )

Ferrari F430 / spider - isn't that yellow F430 gorgeous?
***
*

Ferrari F456
*

Lamborghini Gallardo SE  I just heard some brutal noise, turned over and shot, so it's just an orange patch :bah:

Maserati GranSport

Maserati Quattroporte - MIND THAT COPPER COLOUR!!!

Maybach 57

Mazda RX-7

Mercedes CLS55 AMG - beautiful colour!!!

Mercedes Benz SLR McLaren - mind that licence plate

Mercedes SLK55 AMG

Porsche 996 GT3RS

Porsche 997CarreraS, 911Carrera
**

Rolls-Royce Phantom
***

Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud
*

VW Golf mk5 R32

well, streetsights  but when you're in london, LAMBORGHINI LONDON is a MUST attend!!!
but just like last year I was unlucky - only Gallardos again, but one was 2004 and two were 2006, especially WHITE PEARL

Lamborghini London

White Perlascent Gallardo - in this case the licence plate letters stand for "L" > Lamborghini, "06" > 2006, "E" - E-Gear

other Gallardos

and few meters from Lambo is H.R. Owen - Maserati and Ferrari dealership

All that in one day? London is definately up there amongst the best cities for car spotting, great work.

Nice AMV8 all by itself, and the yellow F430 is too die for - great colour for it, just needs darker (or black) wheels now.

Shame about some of the moving shots being blurry, especially the SE but still a stunning post.

Thanks alot MIHALS.

OMFG!!! What an awesome bunch of pics !!!

All these cars spotted just in one day.... that's really impressive !! Forget Monaco

I loved the AMV8, the black E46 M3, the two M5's ( those are the 2 best colors ), the full white GT3 RS ( it looks better this way than the stock one ).

The pic with the Phantom, the M5 and the DB9 is great. Holy shit !! I had never noticed the Phantom was so big   It looks like a truck....

Congrats on the milstone post. Some great shots, the DB7 is also my favourite. It's too bad you didn't take many pics of the DB9's

If I judge the situation, this guy is surely a former BMW or Mercedes owner, he isn't yet comfortable with the fact that he drives an awesome Audi B7 RS4 whose people want to take picture of it.

Thanks MIHALS for this great pictures set and congrats for your 2K post !
