Default Silicon Valley Auto Group (Exige, S7, F1, DB9, 360CS, etc..)

3/23/06

Took another trip, a lot of fine cars out for a thursday. Just driving down the street I saw a Ferrari Testarossa, Chrysler 300 Limo, Corvette C6 Z06, Porsche 911 GT3, this Ferrari 360 Spider....

....and this Lotus Elise.

So I took some shots of thier new cars. Had another chat with another British salesman about my Top Gear shirt and Aston Martin hat. He ask where I got them, we talked about the show and some of the cars there. He asked if I had any pictures of the McLaren yet. I said no and he invited me in and even held the door open how nice.

Anyway here are the pics:

Saleen S7

Ferrari F430 Spyder

Ferrari 550 Maranello

Bently Continental GT

Lotus Exige

Lamborghini Murcielago

Aston Martin Vanquish S

Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale

Aston Martin DB9 (Black)

Asotn Martin DB9 (Silver)

Lamborghini Diablo VT

McLaren F1 ( http://www.motorworld.net/forum/showthread.php?t=36664 )

Confirmed from the salesman the only F1 for sale in the world, only yellow one ever produced.

Here is the link to my previous visit

Whats the markup on the exige(I wonder aloud)?

Glad to see they continue to sell well there. My favorite place to stop when up there actually.

about $54,000.... give or take... i'm not sure if they are pulling 'market value crap' but you can give them a ring/ or check thier site out... IMO the exige is that much more impressive

Market value is actually what I was asking about.. Rumour is they are about 10 grand over just like the base was when it hit the market.. Ill wait a while longer.

In any case I think lotus' these days are a steal. I mean I know I can and probably will own one in my lifetime.

Thanks for the pics, especially the McLaren ones. McLaren pics are rare as the car itself

They are very friendly and open there. Its always baffled me. "So let me get this straight, your cool with me going into the showroom alone and getting up close and personal with a car worth well over a million dollars?" If i accidentally scratch this thing thats a thousand bucks lol.

But no they really dont mind, maybe because i have a really expensive camera? i dunno. But i talk to the salesmen, they show me around, we talk cars, its good fun.
