Default Saw a test mule car! No idea what it is... but looked sporty

I left work a little earlier yesterday to go do some shopping (this was about 4:30 local time), and whilst driving down from the World Trade Center, and past the local car bureau (towards the highway), I saw some kinda weird black car come in my direction whilst I was stuck in traffic.

At first I was a bit baffled... never seen it before. Then suddenly, as it came closer, I realised "sh1t fuck! it's got camo!!!"

And I mean, VERY heavily camouflaged. I was just there, jaw on the floor for a few seconds, it was the very first time I saw a mule, I just didn't think they'd have them in Switzerland of all places, I mean, what's so special here?!?

And then it drove past me... I got my thoughts together, remembered the camera function on my phone, fished it out of my pocket, and with squealing tired made a U-turn right there and then.

The mule had already been driving at a brisk rate away from me, but I sped up and quickly caught it, and lucky me, he got stuck on some traffic on a multilane road, so I drove up next to him and took a few pics

As you can see from the pics, it's really quite heavily camoed. Whilst it was driving towards me, I saw some kinda CLK/S class grill behind the camo, but apart from that, I really am not sure if it was a Mercedes, or some other car.

It did however look like a two seater, possibly a coupé, and had a pretty imposing stance (but the camo hid the general shape quite well).

I then drove past it, parked on the side of the road and tried to get a photo of it from front, but the driver was clearly speeding it and I was unable to get any more pics (camera phone is soooooo slow).

So, whadda ya guys think, what could this be? I really can't remember how many exhaust pipes it had, what the wheels looked like, etc... I was just too... disturbed by the sight of it to take any more of the car into my mind =\

Yup, it did look like that! I recognize the grill behind the camo

Cool, so my first mule was a Mercedes

Come to think of it, what the heck's it doing in Switzerland? Touring Europe? :p

It looks exactly the same as the one posted by dodo, so I suppose it is the same car.

It's a Mercedes for sure but, and I suppose it's the new C-class, since it isn't too big....

Yeah, could be, if that's how the MLK looks like. But it wasn't a very big car. It looks high in those pics, but I think it might be partly due to that side of the road being slightly higher then my side, and I was taking the photos with the camera in a position that makes it seem quite big.

If the MLK is an SUV, then I would have thought it'd be a bit bigger then what I saw.

But eh, who knows

cool sighting and good reaction to take some pics :good:

it looks very close to the pic dodo posted, the number plate is different although.

But for a SUV it's too low .. I agree with you
if you look at

where you see a X5 in front ... A X5 is much higher than your SLK

see http://www.motorworld.net/forum/show...614&highlight=
for a C class spotted on the highway

edit: like aboves picture , the lights look very much the same
