Default 1967 mustang!

lo all ^.^

is a 1982 loncoln tranny the same as a 1967 mustang?

i believe the transmission on the mustang is C4.

ty, any help is greatly appreciated.

P.S. my friend posted the same thing earlier, but no one bothered answering (so i simplified it)

the tranny should fit it, being the of the modular family... i'd recomend doing a search on an auto parts store site/store front and find out if its the same part numbers etc.

often, parts stay very similar, with only minor differences through the years... but 82 is a far cry from 67... so im really not terribly sure... but being of the modular family, i think it ought to work.
