Default Nov 05 - Lamborghini Murcielago in depth!

"Biggest" in depth I had so far I suppose, Again a big thanks goes to the owner who was damn nice, and to Shin, to put us in contact!

It was a nightmare to find the right spots since it was late in the afternoon and the sun was going away, so plenty of shadows everywhere, but still too many sunny areas here and there, especially on the background :bah:, still, it was amazing to sit once again in a Murci

Click the previews to be taken to the 29 high-res pics update

Enjoy!

Thats probably my favourite colour on the Murcielago - looks just stunning.

Also nice to see its a 6-sp manual, makes the ride a whole lot more interesting IMO.

Thanks for the pics, I think they turned out brilliantly despite the shadows.

Stunning pics, even if you claim it was tough to find good shots.

"Lamborghini%20Murcielago%201046.jpg" in particular is lovely

Were you able to be in the car during some 'spirited' driving? if so how was the sound and feeling as a passenger?

@Dani: it kinda looks like a Hello Kitty doll

Thanks for the pics TT - stunning as usual!! BTW, why does it have in the rearview mirror? a pig??
It's a little japanese puppet, like the various Pikachu, Amtaro and Co

Yes, of course we took his car only and let mine where you see it in a couple of pics. There was not much spirited driving basically since, after 500 meters we were stopped by the police and found out we were flashed on the first straightaway going toward the mountains It wasn't that bad, but to get a fine always seem to make your foot lighter someway. And since we needed to stop several times, we couldn't blast past every parking area at 200 kmh anyway
Anyway, this was my second time in a Murcielago and already seemed familiar. The sound is really intoxicating even at normal speed, and the car sure pulls strong! It is funny to see how ppl react when suddently they have the car in their rearview mirror basically they stop looking in front of them, if not for finding a way to escape the beast
While my first ride included some 200+ speeds, this one was more interesting because I was in the car almost an hour probably, on mountain roads, in regular traffic.. puts the experience in another perspective. Anyway, something I hope to do again soon

At first glance he is far from looking gay and even with 10 Hello Kitty dolls, you really need to be terribly wrong to look gay in a Murcielago
BTW, there is nothing wrong in loving such japanese stuff
Like Jabba's dices, it just adds to the car

This feature was done the same day as the black NSX and yellow Elise BTW! Kinda productive day I must say

Yep, it's a rearview camera, but no idea if it's a Lambo option or comes from Affolter actually since I saw it on many Diablos too (pre-Audi era).
It's pretty cool to have the screen inside showing GPS infos on half of it, and a live rearview on the other
