Default Frankfurt IAA 2005

It took me from tuesday till now to upload all the pics, I was really busy ops:

Ok, I'm not going to comment on the pics, because I have to run.

Oh, the Maybach Exelero was a pain in the ass to take a pic off, so I didn't even try. The crowd was to big to try to experimente with the settings and I had only one day to do the whole IAA, so I had to move on...

I got a chance to meet Wolf Zimmerman. He's the head of the production and technics at AMG and got to meet Cedo Komljenovic aka Monty Shadow a marketing advisor at AMG.

Zimmermann in the middle, Monty on the left, on the right my boss.

Ok, here are some of the cars. The pics are not all nicley lined up and some are thrown around alot, imageshack was giving me problems so I had to upload some pics twice wich screwed up the order :x

The Challenge looks very good in real life.

The new punto looks VERY nice. Maser like front lights, 8)

I love the look of this car, I couldn't get away from it

The C6 looks awesome. I can't wait to get my hands on one of those

The mercedes area is just HUUUUGE!

Ok, the car I really wasn't expecting. The CLK DTM "cabrio".

Got to go to the VIP area, and my knees went week when I saw this beauty 8)

Car spies all around. People measuring absolutley EVERYTHING!

I saw a guy take 12 (twelve) pics of the bottom part. From the nose to the exhaust. Every part was photographed, measured. Crazy!

Ofcorse I have a bunch of babe pics, but I'll open a seperate topic about that in a day or two.

@dani

There were two of us.

But 95% of the pics posted are mine.

You couldn't belive how many people were there. There were 3 press days. On monday people traffic was fine, but there were still alot of the stands being prepared. On tuesday, the day I was there, the number of press and other people was just ridicolous

And on wednesday the traffinc was "fine" again, so I heard.

The number of peole was so big, that I couldn't make one decent pic of the R32, RS4, Q7 and some other cars.

About the press passes, I still have mine, it's valid till the 25th And I have a card giving me free parking.

Who knows, if you stop by my place

Thanks komotar for the "preview", the first WhatYou SawPics on JW

I can't wait to go there, bcause of the cars, the babes and a "secret"-thing, which would be f.cking mind blowing, if it becomes true....

is the Exelero placed in public area

Most of your pics are very nice, for some the conditions where "bad" as usual on carshows

what do you think of the Cayman ?
I still have no opinion, if I like it, I'll have to see the car there to judge

The CLK-DTM Cabrio looks hot

Great pic of the AM V8

why these guys measure the windshield ??? I would choose the stand babes!!
...and hurry with your babe post

So obviously you're the first one to post some IAA pics, not everyone can have a press pass, congrats
First thing I noticed on the pics, the mercedes area, once again, a huge thing with absolutely noting between the cars and the visitors, it may be nice for those who just want to see the car but when you can't make a damn picture it's a real nightmare God bless press days

Stunning CLK DTM cab, and once again that was the place to be

White lamborghini's

Peugeot's concept looks also better than in the press pics

Can't wait to be there, thanks for the pics
