Well - no blame on him.. but what kind of urban planner allows for ZERO access to peoples back yards???

Forget the silly twit building the car in his back shed (which I always thought was just stand-up comedian material - never knew anyone actually did anything except store lawn mowers and porno mags in their back shed ) what would happen if a fire broke out back there - the freaking fire dept. would have to run hoses through your house...

Row houses are not really a problem - but row houses without a back alley are just stupid

Yes its not an ideal place to build the car, but its what he got and from what I saw he buildt a pretty nice kit car from there....I think we should give him credit for his work as he would qualify as a felllow car enthusiasth IMO....

Maybe he cant afford to pay the cost of renting a garage spot, or if he should he would have to travel long distances to get there, building it in his back yard allows him to go out there when ever he have a minute to spare and work on it.....

remember the Zonda wasnt exactly screwed together in a place you would think supercars are born either.....

credit to the guy for building his own car,and I`m sure quite a few would like to rip it up around a track in it if they had the chance and then nobody would think he was an dumbass for the location it was buildt.....
Yes and how much do you think a crane cost? + BT to disconnect the phone lines + he PAID someone to remove the front of his shed  Also he may have had to pay somehting for the emergency services time. I watched some of the rest of the series and he shouldn't be on tv, he can't present and makes mark evans look like the best mechanic ever, basically he was saved by other enthusiasts/ discovery's wedge of cash. I can certainly tell you it would have cost less to rent somewhere As for travelling well even here in dorset the back end of nowhere i could find somewhere very local which doesn't cost the earth.

a stupid one anyway there is blame on him, he should have thought ahead, as said above i'm 99% sure it would be cheaper by some margin to rent some space. Anyway it made for good tv so maybe that was the motivation. best part of the series that i saw. BTW i left the bit at the end in to illustrate his stupidity

" I don't even know what buttons to press" how about those ones you supposidly fitted directly infront of your head??

I didnt see this program obviously Al....

I tought it was a short thing about a guy who buildt his own kit car, and not a discovery "is born look alike" thinghy....

but anyway I dont think its wrong to build a car where he did, as the building a car thing are what makes me happy....
yeh i appreciate you have to see the series to understand fully my attitude towards him, plenty of laughing at him sadly. Its ok to see real people doing stuff, but IMO he is a poor substitute for the isborn series.... i'm always hostile to blatant format copies tho

hahaha... lmao...
if he had a garage... he could perfectly build his kit car there
just an idiot as the guy from TG that built a car in his kitchen and his wife left

if you start building something you make sure it will fit through the doors
