Woodward Dream Cruise 2005!!! (365 pics so far...8/22)
I believe I started a topic about this last year as well, but the time has once again come. Tomorrow is the "official" Woodward Dream Cruise, though for the past week and probably for the following week everyone has been out in their hot rides blasting up and down Woodward Ave. I'll be out there tomorrow loaded up with batteries and memory cards taking as many good pictures as I can.
I can promise: Ford GT's, Porsche Carrera GT(s?), some Ferraris, perhaps a lambo or two, Jags, and Lotuses and an unholy shitload of American Muscle cars of varying ages and states of tune.
For anyone else who might be in the area and interested, I'll probably be in B-ham for most of the time, so send me a PM if you want to meet up!
This installment of pics is actually still Pre-Cruise, tomorrow's the big day. At any rate, Enjoy!!
Short vid of the CGT:

(And with that, I'm off to take more pics muahahaha )
And now for the "real" stuff!!!!

Those were headed for a dealer near where I live, so I guess the '06 models are getting stocked right now.
edit: we'll see how much metal shows up, we had thunderstorms this morning and that...well...they were heavy enough that my dad's house lost power. Anyway, even if there isn't much going on today I've got about 240 pics from last night to post when I get around to it

A great preview. The CGT looks nice as ever (thanks for the detailed pics of interior and engine) and the orange Saleen looks really mighty. You look good behind the wheel of the GT. No test drive scheduled?
I'm already looking forward to the pics of the event itself.

I'm up to nearly 600 pictures and I've just stopped at home to do a memory dump on my camera. It poured again this afternoon, so I got wet, but I also got some reasonably nice "wet" shots of cars. Of course I wouldn't have gotten wet in the first place if I hadn't been standing in line to get Steve Saleen's autograph hehe...anyway, I'll post pics later tonight if I'm still awake after my second sortie

i guess i didnt stay long enough in the saleen area to know he was there.
although, i did speak with a few supercar owners, and chase a gallardo down I96...
unfortunately, i didnt see too many ferraris where i was, but still quite a few good pictures... not nearly your 600 tho
im closer to 80 or so good shots (i waited til people cleared out of my pictures mostly)
once i have internet in Kazoo... i'll be uploading the pictures
i keep making my dad money on my outings to hunt for cars;

Fuck!!! I completely missed the 400GT and I didn't see a Gallardo or Murcielago all day, I was pretty upset, but then I wasn't out that long, only from about 1:30 - 6pm. Anyway, can't wait to see your pics and nthfinity's!!

When I'm in town (i.e. not at school) about 2 times a week, sometimes more. I"m assuming that you're referring to the two dealers just south of Maple, AutoEurope on the East side and whatever the hell the other one is on the West, just a little farther South. There are actually more. There's one on Old Woodward, again just south of Maple, and a Porsche Dealer on new Woodward just South of Maple as well, and then if you take Maple East of B-ham you end up at the Troy Motor Mall which has an Aston/Jaguar dealer, and a Bentley/Hummer/Rolls Royce dealer as well as a variety of other foreign and domestic makers (Honda, Nissan, Toyota, Acura, Scion, Lexus, Mazda, Volvo, GM, Chevrolet, Cadillac, Pontiac, Chrysler, Ford, Lincoln, Mercury...I feel like I'm missing some, but I'll leave it at that). Then, if you take Maple West for a while you'll find Orchard Lake Road, which, if you turn South on, you'll find Jack Cauley Chevrolet/Cadillac and Ferrari/Maserati where there's usually at least one Enzo.

Im talking about AutoEurope and Birmingham imports right on Woodward ave. Ive also been by all the other dealers you just stated and I know Jeff Cauley personally. I even got a ride in a yellow 575M from the dealer for a good 30 minutes
