Son of a Bitch! Look at the Price of Petrol!
This must be the first official JW proof of the price of petrol going over $1/L. in Canada. When is it going to stop? (I know...it won't).
Sorry for the bad pics. I was in a hurry.

do you want me to go to our petrol stations and get pics of prices around $AU1.20/L (= $1.11 CAD)? It is going up too, so it will be $1.30 before you know it.....

Why would you use premium if your car doesn't require it? Isn't it actually worse for the engine?

Why don't you all come over to the Netherlands and pay 1.43+ Euro's a litre (NOT a gallon)?
That's approx. US $ 1.86 a litre
or CA $ 2.28 a litre

Well...the gap hasn't closed yet, but we're working on it. Around here gas prices have jumped about 20 cents in the last week, it's now about $2.70 per gallon, which equates to about 70 cents per liter, which is about 87% of British petrol prices, and the prices are still rising.
I'm actually kind of enjoying the fact that the prices are going up, maybe some of the morons with SUVs and giant trucks will get off the road or buy real, reasonably frugal vehicles.

that's about the only upside i can see to this.
Where is our economist at? maybe he can shed some light as to how much longer we are going to have to put up with this crap. Which will also tell us when China has returned to the stone age

no. its 6.70 regular and 7.50 premium
62 and 70 cents approx. per liter, so that makes about 2.4 USD the gallon and 2.8 USD respectively. not cheap, considering our gas is low quality IMO and we get stolen some of it in the gas stations...
