Default Piquet Affirms: Barrichello Signed with BAR

It was on Brazilian Newspaper ESTADO DE SÃO PAULO this morning.

Nelson Piquet, who claims to be very well informed, has confirmed that RUbens Barichello has signed with BAR...
This was probably made possible by Gil De Ferran, who is important in BAR, and by Frank Williams' insistence/demand/confirmation that Jenson WILL go to Williams 2006, because of Contract promise...
"I don't have to be the one telling Jenson that a contract means a contract. He will be racing for Williams in 2006" says williams.

Rubens has not denied it, however he has said "If that is true, then piquet knows more than I do"
There is no official denial from Ferrari, who has a contract with Rubens until December 06, and Barrichelo's father and lawyer's presence at the(Hockenheim)circuit usually lead to a change of teams...as has happened in the jordan-->stewart change, and stewart--->ferrari change in 1999...

With this change, Felipe Massa, from sauber, may become under the eyes of ferrari, although it is not sure. One thing that will help, is that Jean Todt's son, is Massa's manager....
things are getting hot...Rubens may yet have a chance to show his ability as N1 Driver (although i believe nothing will come out of this)

whys that?? hes a great driver (was) and i wish his son the best. i cant wait till his son gets a full ride.
Well, first of all, he NEVER appreciated Senna's talent as a Driver, and was famous for fighting like hell with him...
In the most famous of these fights, Piquet and Prost invented a story that Senna was gay....and made him very depressed...But i loved the way senna answered to that..he said to a journalist "Tell piquet to ask his wife what kind of a man i am", since senna had had a fling with his wife before he married her....

Also, during his carreer, he NEVER wanted to talk to the press...the press really hated him...and now that he is a has been, he suddenly starts to talk his mouth all the time, about everything...

I much prefer senna and fittipaldi over him

OK....Just in, from the same source...
ECCLESTONE CONFIRMS: MASSA HAS SIGNED IN WITH FERRARI

Although no official statement has been made, Bernie has said quite solidly, that Massa has just signed with ferrari, probably for a 2nd pilot position in 2006....That would mean rubens is out, to BAR....

Wherever Barrichello will move, I hope he can be No. 1 driver there and then he could push his skills to the limit...

bing the no. 1 driver means shit if the car doesnt perform... for some reason, Rubens just hasnt gotten accustomed to his 2005 chassis, which is confusing to me, why would he be so much slower then MS???

anyway

and when did it become mandatory for someone to acknowledge someone else's skill's??
oh, i know NEVER!!!!
im sure he appreciated Senna's talent, but maybe he kept it to himself, personally i dont think i would to. in doing so, you only feed the ego of the other driver and thats the last thing i would want to do to my rivals.

and who cares if he never wanted to talk to the media. personally i could care less if a driver or some other athlete talks or doesnt talk to the media, he has the right to do what he wants and its that simple. aslong as he does his pr thats all that matters. its his own life and thats that.

and i really havent read many articles about him talking recently about anything, though Irvine seems to enjoy it but we all know that.

and hes far from a has been, he has 3 titles something that alot of drivers dream of and wont even accomplish winning 1 title.
Still, I think he is a jackass that can drive real well

It`s sad to see Rubinho go to BAR , anyway the real Ferrari tifosi will always remember him as a great driver , Rubinho did his part well , so with him in the monopost , Ferrari won quite a ''few'' constructors championships 2000-2004 .

I wish him the best at his next team .
