$700K?
Not a chance, they'd be lucky to get $250-$300K for that car.
Still a nice car, but there just isn't the kind of demand to make it a $700K car.

your estimated price seems to be more logical
700K sounds wayy too much

Even going through prestige showrooms, and being previously owned by Sir Elton John, that car fetched a little over £110k. And it had extremely low milage

There is tax issues here. (100% tax + shipping)
An Audi A4 b7 3.0 is sale for US$94thousand
A Gallardo for US$450thousand
so...
but they ask only US$165thousand for this Jag

lol, I asked you guys about the price because I really have no idea how much this machine costs... I based my 700 thousand dollar price on the information that fast-autos.net gives here: http://www.fast-autos.net/jaguar/jaguarxj220.html
KramRS2, they are asking only 165 K for the xj220? unbeliveable cheap if you ask me, this is the price of a 99 F355...
by the way, where have those golden rims came from?

The XJ220 is probably at its lowest point in terms of value, it is not a classic yet, and no one appreciates it right now, because they are ludicrously expensive to maintain and don't really have any great draws. No classic sound, no V12, horrible brakes, and an uninspired interior all conspire to keep the price very low.

Bah... i've never been a big fan of XJ220's. I'd rather save up the extra and get a CGT... This month's evo reported that a yellow CGT was offered in the trade for £250k and didn't get any takers.... prices are coming down... now just a further £220k drop and i'll be able to get one!
