Nope it isn't an Astra and it isn't german. like i said it's a competitor of the BMW 3-series, Mercedes C-Class, Audi A4 etc..

Geez, it was practically unrecognisable. That I mentioned the Rover 6 series as well is testimony to that. Normally, I would be perfectly able to tell them apart, especially since my own dad owned an S40.... I also think there's supposed to be a black plastic strip along the side of the car that isn't there in the picture.

Difficult one...

Yes it's difficult to reconize, but my dad (who took the pic) is thinking of buying an V40. So he looked at the S40's interior etc. And that's why i know for shure it's an S40 cause it was pretty difficult to reconize it from the pic.
