Thanks a bunch for posting these movies but that driver was really annoying me.. :x Seriously he never really used full throttle that much, he held gears like a mad man, I doubt it used much more than third alot of the time. His shift tmes was over a second. bbbbbrrrrrrrrrrrrrmmmmmmmmmmmm (wait..... wait.... wait) rmmmmbbbbrrrrrrrrmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm (wait.... wait..... wait....) it was rediculous.

He really wasnt even going 1/2 way close to flat out.... its always better when Tiff is driving

The rearview mirrors are like those of the prototype but they are not fine
Yeah these mirrors look sort of awkward.

BTW thanx Mindgam3 for the awesome vids!

lol you guys have no shame , instead of being content with at least having footage of an F1 on the ring your here complaining about the owner not pushing it as hard as youd like , and how hard is that exactly ?
it seems to me that if any clips posted on here that dont have the driver smokin his rear wheels or powersliding or driving like he stole it the video is worthless to some of you guys.

Did it perhaps occur to you guys that maybe his abillities are some what exceeded by the vehicle ? this is after all the fastest production road car in the world and the fact that he is driving it on the most unforgiving race track on the planet . Perhaps he wanted to go easy? i mean what if hed lost control then it would be cries of "jackass driver crashes Mclaren F1 "
"rich guy doesnt deserve that car " yadda yadda yadda

The vehicle belongs to a guy called flemke he is a regular at pistonheads and im gonna point y'all to the direction of some of the threads he has posted in so perhaps with some background knowledge maybe you guys wont make such rash decisions or at least you may be able to understand why he wasnt that keen on pushing it
http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/t...16539&f=23&h=0
oh and here is another thread in which they discuss why flemke wasnt so keen in pushing it so much
http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/t...30682&f=23&h=0

all imo are worth while reading

and to those that are like "why aint the driver pushing harder "
i for one would love to see you so called driving dons do any better (id wager my life that most of you would shit your pants the moment you floored that thing in second)
apologies for the rant .......

oh and well stolen er i mean spotted from piston heads mindgam

Valid points moan786 makes, I think...

And very interesting topics, its good to read more of what flemke has to say. Some of his topics from PH were posted a while ago on JW, but both of those are new, and definitely worth reading.

Idd. It's a very expensive and exclusive car. Maybe for us it's much more thrilling to see a McLaren F1 driving on the limit with lots of tire squeal and powersliding. But what if the owner just doesn't has enough experience with this high performance car. He would be devastated if he'd crash it and most of us will also be.

Besides the Nordschleife is a very difficult and scary track. People who have driven on it will know that it has a lot of blind corners and catches. You have to do a huge amount of laps compared to other tracks, before you really know the track.
