The cab is far worse than the Peugeot in the original movie and everything points towards a mindlessly stupid flick. I expect the script to be three pages in total. Only reason to go see it is probably Giselle Buendchen.

I Agree, the tigh skirt robbers gang is the only thing better than the original.

I loved the original (Luc Besson's) and seems like this american remake is a lot better than I expected. Not saying it'll be as good cause it won't be without miss Emma Sjoberg... As far as remake goes, it has potential

well said. Let's face it. It was a French movie, so large chunks of the movie dont really fit togeather, the plot is erratic and unrealistic, as has already been said, bullets fly and no-one gets hit. One scene in Taxi 2 involves a car parachuting from a herculese plane - what more can you possible want from a film!

And of cause Miss Sjoberg and that karate sequence greately helped!
