The VZ Commodore

Holden have just released the new range of Commodores, called the VZ. Its only a 'facelift' on the previous model when you look at the exterior but the cars get an all new 3.6L quad-cam V6 engine and gearbox (with paddles) and the cars now have ESP (V6 models only, not the Gen III V8's).

I think they look great and they now have an engine that matches what the Falcon (Ford) has in terms of power and smoothness/effeciency. I'm looking forward to see what HSV can do with them.

I like Holdens, when you think that they share the last Opel Omega !! They look much better !! Sportier and classier. + you have big V8

I like the SS, but somehow the front headlamps looks like the new Subaru legacy (IMO)...but overall it looks great and also that side vent, just like the mustang svt

My thoughts entirely, although it's a Vauxhall Omega in the UK which is also badged as a Cadillac Catera in the USA...

Well personaly I think Holden has done another good job, there main update was the engine line up but I must say well done to Holden again for putting together another kick ass car he he

There's a big write up in this months motor about it Dingo, I havent had the chance to read it yet. Had a quick look and it looks nice he he.

Pressure-sensitive LED brake lights ?? maybe when we step on the brake pedal hard, then the brake lights will get brighter... (IMO)

Was that a question or are you explaining it for us? That is the point of them, that they get brighter the harder you brake.

yes i rely liked it, i wonder what motor magazine will have to say on the new car.

it is quite funny how holden use to be nothing like the europian car makers, but now evrey day they seem more and more like them.
