What we liked best about the Slade was how effortlessly it put all 700 horses to the ground. With the four-wheel-drive system and automatic transmission, an Avon Lady could launch the thing perfectly. Apply a bit of brake torque, and the LPE Escalade honks to 60 mph in only four seconds, just about half the time a stocker needs. In 11.1 seconds it's at 100 mph, and in only 12.7 seconds it passes the quarter-mile at 106 mph (a Ferrari 360 Modena F1 reaches 60 in 4.6 seconds and the quarter in 13.1 seconds at 110 mph).

Woah
At $125k it's a bit of a bargain. Fater and maore practical than the Turbo or 360 8)
Fun for the whole family... or just the driver

I would take the car.. I love the Escalade EXT.. Accually we are getting one but not the EXT version the normal one soon.. This would be cool.. LoL.. This blows off any Evo, 911 Modena, Gallarado I suppose . .... I know it won't corner as good. and as Sikx5 said it might jump into bush but at least it will eventually turn.

the good news is you don't have to have it with the ugly Escalade it works on any GM truck from a standard Tahoe to Suburban to Yukon (Denali also) to Yukon XL to any of the 3 Escalades to the H2( piece of shit) I'm sure you could get it on the Silverado's too. I personally would do it to a Yukon Denali or Tahoe and black the thing out.

Well ... that is pointless ... i can add double turbo to a 360 and it will outrun an Enzo ... so what is the point ? do not compare Tuned cars with street cars
I can make a Lada with a M3 double turbo engine and outrun a 360 too ...

But its much sexier than the Escalade , and it would be fair to compare it to th Gemballa one , not the Turbo , again you are mixing apples with oranges

...i almost threw up when i saw that.
see, i'm a purist, and I believe that Escalades arent allowed to have that much power...it's completely useless. and plus, the escalade is ugly as butt to begin with, the EXT is worse, and that thing, with all the junk they added to the exterior, looks worse yet.
i'm sorry, i'd take even a Cayenne S or a Touareg V8 over this thing...

Let's keep this all in perspective.
Lingenfelter already had this package worked out long before the Escalade came to the market... and during one of it's debut runs, the 4wd chassis let a GMC Sonoma pickup truck run 0-60 - 2.xs.
The package is an awesome achievement that doesn't really have a vehicle to be added to.
So the few folks with more cubic money than know what to do with have opted for this Escalade package.
But, there are just as many "sleeper" GMC and Chevrolet Suburbans with this package under the skin.
Think of it as the ultimate expression of "How fast can you make this car?" "I dunno - how much money you got?" philosophy.
Much the same way no-one really needs a Gemballa Cayenne now do they?
Having seen a Twin Turbo Suburban actually do it's thing on the freeway, the sound/spectacle and instant nature of the power delivery and acceleration is astonishing.
Just remember, if it was not for the engineers willing to pursue such excess, and the wealthy nut-cases willing to spend money on them, all we would have to show for the world would be Golf Diesels and J-body Chrylsers.
