Aftermath
Just came back from Indy...what a great race. I was sitting right in front of the renault, minardi and Jaguar's broken cars. When the jag caught on fire, I could see them taking off the top and I got to see the engine. it was intense. ANyways, one of the coolest things about the F1 was all the cars people drove there. I must have seen 5 or 6 E46 M3's, 2 M5's, 2 Porsche turbos...new of course, 2 ferrari 360s, Acura Nsx's, S4's, one RS6 (this was the first RS6 i have seen on the road), some cayenne turbos, a bunch of old ferraris (308, 328, testarossas) and the list goes on. Ive never seen so many nice cars on the road at the same time. Brillant spectacle. Lol Oh, anyone who went to the race, did you see the one guy on his green vendor-tricycle bike that was playing kamakazi with oncoming traffic selling some food to people? ahahah we almost ran into that guy!

Indy is a reference to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway which is located in Indianapolis, Indiana, and played host to the US Formula 1 Grand Prix this past weekend.

Geesh I would have thought that, Indy = Indianapolis speedway, deductive reasoning. Although they may not cover the facility name in interational coverage.
I have had the opportunity to fall into crowds of wonderful cars before. It is always interesting to see how many other drivers seem to care and how many don't. Personally I love it when I can get into a group of fast cars. A high speed conga line seems to develop and everyone gets a chance to take the lead once in a while.

Sorry, no pics. I don't have a digital camera. Ill get one soon. But ya, Indy is the indianapolis speedway in Indiana. Overall, one of the best weekends I have had all year. The cars, the race, even the people made the place one hell of a trip. During the race, I got to sit next to a guy that lived in Manchester England and he went to the canadian GP also. He went nuts when Sato got third. Great guy!
