Alright, so last sunday I went to a drift competition, and I fuckin loved it!! it was, as im told, the first time a comp of this caliber had come to the states and featured the best Japanese drifters.

I took my digital camera with the sole intention of takin pics to post here, but my friend just told me there is already 3 sites with 100 times more pics and better quality pics too, so for now ill link em, but if i see something i liked thats not on one of the sites and i have a pic of it, ill post it. if you have never gone to see a drift comp, i highly suggest going, these guys can fuckin drive!! i kinda thought a lot of the cars were "ricey" until i saw them on the track, some in the car show were rice, but some definitely were not. example Lexus SC430 with 460hp at the rear wheels! the guy drove the shit out of that thing, damn impressive!!

for the Jabba. a Diablo with Nitrous!! fuckin nutters LOL, its hard to see but there are two bottles inbetween the seats, trust me, i stared at them for quite a while LOL

hehe...these drift monkeys will drift anything. i read in an article how to drift a civic. the civic must be the benchmark for being an all rounder car in the auto industry.

coincidently uras splet backwards means monkeys in japanese but this time i don't see any monkeys on that skyline

yah my roomate went down there to and video taped some of it
i would of gone but i was to tired it was a 8 hour trip there

i wish they drifted the Diablo, that would have been amazing! but it was just in the car show :cry: LOL still good to see one from time to time. ive been meaning to take my camera to some of the car shops in Beverly Hills, but last time i went they gave me funny looks, pricks. they have all sorts of amazing cars in those shops. Jag XJ220, a raced out Diablo, bunch of Ferraris old and new, Shelby series one, tons of cars. one of these days ill go snap some photos

i love Diablos, the GT is my favorite cause i love orange/black scheme they did, i was simply amazed that someone actually put nitrous on it. needless to say it had quite a crowd around it for most of the day, so my pics of it didnt turn out too well, but i think i got a better shot thru the winshield showing off the bottles, ill post it later tonight when i get home.

That's a great video, thank you for the link. Can't belive they can drift on such long corner. Very nice dog fight between Taniguchi and Imamura in the last part of the video.

Anyone see the Video of like a Evo 6, or 7 drifting for like 30 seconds it seems! then drifts into a another corner with 1 hand, he had one hand out the window.

Might i add that the diablo was carrying 3 tanks of nitrous?? yes indeed. WEll all together the show was off the hook. The cars were nice, ance were finely tuned to the max. My main man in the blue s15 didnt do as well as i thougt, but the 86 showed everything he's got and made it a good nite.

Oh I have that one too! They do a lap test at first then the driver have fun drifting it around. That's the only drifting Supra video I have.

You get to see a D1 competition LIVE! You lucky *&*#&$! I have a lot of their recent D1 Option videos, but always wanted to see it in person, especially when two drivers go head to head Initial D style.. Thanks for the links! Billyjuan's avatar is cool!
