Default Scoop: Filandi Uragano

Ok guys, what I saw is a real preview...or a real scoop!
Last Sunday I was in a village not far from my house where every year held a meeting of supercars, mainly Ferrari e Lamborghini (these shots will come at a later time).
I was shooting a group of Ferrari when I saw that many people were surrounding a car...
When I saw I was amazed!
What is this new prototype?
The car is called "Uragano", "hurricane" In English...aggressive name!
The manufacturer calls Filandi and I had never heard before
Unfortunately I was unable to speak with those who have produced but I have done some shots
I saw that the car is very wide and low, all whole body is still in a prototype phase, is built in aluminium and was beaten by hand.
It seems to me that mounts a V8 engine but I did not understand where both derivative, with a big turbine.
The exhaust is very special done with tubular steel, all craft, the tube frame is not unusual for a supercar. The fuel tanks are down, beside the engine. Suspension are racing and discs and pads are Ap racing.
The design is very special but probably is still under study
Unfortunately I don't have more news

Now my question:
Is this prototype the beginning of a new Italian supercar?

I hope it is, it would be very exciting to see a born of a new Italian supercar!

Ok, now here some shots:

More pics in hight resolution and two different size are avaiable on my website: www.italiansupercar.net

I dunno. It could be any V8 with 32 valves. Maybe even Ferrari?

Yes. Have you heard the engine?

I just said Ford earlier because it's relatively easy to find and fix, and it sounds good, and De Tomaso used them. Not that I saw something particularly Ford engine-ish.

It looks like a Ford sourced V8... likely from the Ford RAcing department.... but that is one HUGE turbo! I'm sure its very fast.... single turbo DOHC V8.... Turbo v8's sound muffled, and whooshing.. particularly big displacement turbo v8's

I don't think the car looks particularly good.... but its only a prototype, right? Doesn't look like they have much of a budget either....

HUGE thanks for sharing, smartdriver
