Default First pictures with my new camera!

Well folks, just picked up a used Nikon D70 with an 18-135mm lens, and i decided to take some pictures of a few friends and their cars. Tell me what you think!

More to come soon.

A used D70: Smart choice mate. Buying a used body saves more money for lenses. I think the 18-135 is a great walk-around lens with useful wide angle and zoom capabilities. Have fun shooting!

Thank you all! I found the D70 body in a pawn shop for $500, so i couldn't resist getting it. I bought the 18-135mm off of Amazon new, though. Thanks for all the friendly comments!

pics look great, especially that 2nd shot!

what sort of filters are you using on the first pic? it looks more like 3-d rendering than real life

No filters yet! Just cranked up the aperture for a super long exposure, and then played with it in adobe lightroom.

Thanks all for the compliments!
