Le Mans
Who here's looking forward to this weekend's Le Mans? Anyone lucky enough to be going (not me, alas)? I reckon Audi are favoruites - my money is on them to retain the title.

Yeah the Audi looks good, I was lookin over the car on their website earlier - plenty to geek out over here:
http://www.audi.co.uk/audi/uk/en2/ex...i_R10_TDI.html
Also while I was looking I found they had a neat thing for any Audi drivers visiting - they've hired out a chateau near the race track with free refreshemnts and massages and behind-the-scenes look, for anyone who turns up before the race - http://www.audi.co.uk/audi/uk/en2/ex...i_Le_Mans.html - nice if you can get it...

Ooops ops:
I thought they were already competing this year :bah:
|
Nope, it's because of the Diesel situation, with them having a big advantage. Porsche did say that Dyson and Penske could still race, but they would have to foot the bill. So no go.

I heard some minutes ago that the Peugeot did the fastest time on the Track. Okay as a german, it will be extreme important for Audi to win again. But it's the same with the Schuhmacher period even it's too long, it might be boring. That'swhy the best one should be the winner.
I hope Jacques will do the TRIPLE ( LeMans , Formula One and Indy 500 ).

Im not a Villeneuve fan, in fact I don't like him at all but I would like to see him win and perform that TRIPLE!

Help is there a live feed on the web like there was for the ring last week?
I dropped Speedvision from my cable line up so I am blind unless there is something on the web.

There's stuff on the official Le Mans website, but ACO wants you to fork over 13 euros in return.
