This story has a number of versions, many of which make no sense.
The bottomline is that any modern car with remote oil reservoirs and a high pressure distributed oil cooling systems can catch fire in an instant.
Oh - havent a bunch of F-cars and Lambos been all burned up recently as well?

Exactly, and all it takes is one guy forgetting to properly tighten up a union and thats it, hot oil on even hotter exhaust pipe, up she goes.
Not a matter of build quality IMO, that is the design in my eyes, this kind of thing is more a product of who has been working on the car!!
