Default 21 year old commits suicide over Everquest!

Yeah thats fucked up! I saw this on Digg.

At first you I thought it was just crazy as hell. Then I dont kow WTF happened but that shit is just fucked up and got me thinking. Well its a good thing I dont play games or go online that much anymore so I should be good...I hope.

Anyways this is similiar to that recent South Park episode of "WOW", except this is Everquest. Also note that he quite his job to play in upwards of 12+ hours a day!!! I could imagine sitting in front a computer for that long.

Way outdated news!

I remember it being news 4 years ago when it happened.

Still sad though.

Nah, that kid doesn't deserve to be remembed. If he can't weight things properly in life, he is probably no use to the society anyways.

Pretty crazy that a person would kill themselves because of a game; sad news. But gamers do get pretty hard core, just look at some of the stories that come from Asia involving computer game players.

I have heard a lot of stories of kids having break downs and problems over online MMORPGs. they are fun for a while and some times it isn't just RPGs somethings its FPS. so it isn't just MMORPGs, its just about any game that anyone plays online to much.

There was an extremely popular MMORPG in the Philippines called "ragnarok", and some of the female players were trading sexual acts in return for sought-after items in the game. I kid you not.

I've heard of the game and similar things, but not sexual acts. Damn...
