The german accent is just a killer. As is the V8 sound!

AWESOME! I really hope that this new M3 is as good or better than the last. I like how the guy behind the wheel of the M3 gives the camera man the finger as he drives past! :alienflip:

New figures put HP at 410 and torque at 305. I had hoped for more. Especially in the torque department.

Once again, people will pay for the BMW name, and will be payting way to much for what they're actually getting. The new 335i is a much better buy for what you get.

At low revs it sounds like an ford V8 with nice exhause IMO.....maybe Chevy....cant remember really..but i think ford. Either way its sounds spectacular.

Yeah........no matter how much I adore the M3.....it needs more than 410 hp. We will see........But then again the RS4 MSRP is 66K for a few more hp and nobody is complaining there..

probably kept the torque figures down to have a lighter transmission..

Looks a lot beefier than a regular 3 series.. the bulges on the front hood and wheel arches definitely improve the look of the new body style.

Sure the 335i is fast, but this will definitely be sportier and much more fun to throw around in the corners..

Its sad that the 335i petrol engine will creat more torque than the M version. Turbos or not.....that isnt very cool at all.

With too much hp and torque, the car would probably dethrone an M5/6... BMW wouldn't want that. The higher end models are more expensive after all.

As much as we want this to happen, the M3 won't be faster than the M5/6. It's just not supposed to be.
Of course, this doen't mean that it's going to be slow. Hell NO!

However, the real monster we'll wear a three-letter badge! CSL

About the torque - the old m3 had 269.0 ft lbs. And if you thing 305 is not much, thing twice. BMW has never made engines with huge amounts of torgue, still we all know BMW engines' capability!

peace
