New Audi S8, Should I?
JW.... You guys know more than me when it comes to cars, I check the review and your comments, my Atom and Gallardo desissions were based on JW. So i hope you will have your input here.comments will help.
I'm currently shopping for a car, and with some research and web browsing, I've tested the following cars.
BMW M5 - Not Tested> I like the power, but not the prestige! I'm going to have a baby soon. They say that it is so power, up shift will snap your neck!. So NO NO!
BMW-740iL (I think) > It is new, but with an old flavor! It is like your grandfather, you can not hate him, but you like to be around him. Makes you feel good!
The bad news, it will change soon, and with that kind of money, soon it will lose it's value.
Merc S500L> Car of the year, every one is talking about it. All of the cars that I drove were with me for at least 24hrs. With the S. only 3hr's, I knew all about it. Enough said!
Maserati - Quattroporte GT - Not tested>This was a dream car for me couple of years ago, I never though of it as an option, with the business going good. I can have a four door Ferrari in my garage. But I was SHOCKED with the interior finishing!! Too much leather, and what's up with the parking sensors! they are cantilevering from the bumpers. I was disappointed, I wish I never saw the car up close.
Audi - A8L- 4.2l> It was one of the most architectural cars, it looks much better with the new face lift, and with these huge wheels, it is blingy some how. Now, as soon I drove it, I felt home. Everything was perfectly fit. With my new business life, the phone car was working for the first time. I got the SL, and S class, both will dry your mouth... you have to shout!
So, I came to a conclusion, I want a bit of A8 + M5 + S500 AMG looks. And it came to my attention, S8. Should I get it?

I'm not into luxury cars, but Audi’s luxury cars are very nice.
And this vid might help you decide, since you are looking for multiple cars in one

I'd think between Quattroporte and S8. About Quattroporte i am not sure about the quality i mean long distance quality if it can survive alot so it needs to make a research between people who have/had it on the forums for example. New F1 shifting was improved so it should be pleasent to drive The sound of Ferrari engine is incredible
Quality will not be an issue in S8 imo 8) A bit boring design thou

Man!!! Our service sucks! It is Blocked.... Does it contain Porn!
Thanks for your help... I'm actually trying to get some video reviews about S8 in eng... I found one in German, and slalom behind a warehouse testing........
I know I know, it makes sense to get the Quattro, I jaws just dropped when I saw it for the first time, I mean with those nice hip rear doors, and the elegent truck with White quattro leather bags.. YAAAWW! It is amazing,, but seriously, have you seen the leather work, comparing it to the german work! it is cheap..... over used and abused!

Exactly, well! actually I would not call it boring, but I think you mean safe design. I'm sure after few years it will still look OK!
Currently, I'm driving an SL500 MY03, now I had it for 3yr7m21d, and with it's interior design, it is way futuristic. But on the other hand the new 5/6 series, those are way to fugly! it looks old even today! M5 could had won if it had it's old layout! I loved my 540i, back in the days of 1999... aaaaah!
anyway, keep those comments coming..... good or bad

I ment anout S8 that its just a huge cow with 20'' wheels(probably) 8) upper class cars are getting bigger and bigger every year
S8 is surely a blast to drive Rationally S8 wins
You can order different kinds of leather to Quattroporte, right? I mean if you tell them to make it top quality and maybe pay a bit for taking care of leather and so you can get what you want.

I'd take the QP, I don't get the "too much leather finishing" thing, for instance theres a lot of options of finishing, even with CF it looks nice
IMO the S8 is "too common" while the QP is more rare. Less people think about it as its out of the more commercial brands everyone knows.

I think the same. Old S8 was one of the best 4 door saloons and I thin new one is even better. It has a Lamborghini engine, think about that

I think it can't be a bad choice You could also think to a Mercedes S63 when it will arrive ...
