Q: Is there anything unique about the history of this car?
A: The truck is originally out of Canada (like most Dokas in the US) and it was once confiscated by the US government for smuggling drugs (presumably over the US/Canada border). It was even modified for smuggling - treasure chest doors and pass-through were welded and bondo’d closed, making it appear as though the compartment didn’t exist!
