Aussies in the World Cup
Soccer isn't Australia's best sport but we've finally made it after 34 f'ing long years!
Now i'm gonna celebrate some more with what we know best...BEER
EDIT: Australia defeated Uruguay on penalty shootout 4:3

I had to go out for dinner half way through extra time - but the resulting celebrations at the bar across the street kind of gave the result away.
Not much point in watching what I recorded..... :bah:

Another thing we should point out is that last night the country celebrated the victory on the streets and at bars - and NO arrests!!
I'd like to see that happen in some other countries......

yes it was, he was about to fart that swiss player to pieces
holland has qualified too (we're 2nd in the world ranking i believe) but isnt nearly good enough to win the championship at the moment imo...
ah well congratz to all the unlikely qualifiers
