This must be one of the best looking cars past and present!
And, it has a Maser engine
No doubt!......................but.....
this is not so good news

Well at least the last sentence is kindove reasuring. It says that things change fast in Alfa so.....
The car would cost aprox 125.00 Euro. Not a small price. And Alfa thinks that they would not see green numbers if they were building this car.
I am convinced that this car would be sold in bigger number Alfa thinks.
I mean, just look at it. And with the right advertisment tactic, this car
would become an icon. It almost allready is and all they did was show it once. IAA Frankfurt, 2003.

for some reason i've never really liked this car's looks as much as the rest of the world...i can see its a pretty car, but to me its not drop dead gorgeous (atleast from pictures, maybe if i see it in the flesh i'll faint like every1 else here)

I wish they could produce that...I hope they change their minds, bringing that to America when (if) they decide to come back would be a good way to break the ice.

yes they would definately sell a LOT of them at almost any price...i mean for the same price you can buy some of those mercedes SL's etc...surely this will attract alot of people more than those

Well the price estimate has gone up 25-35000GBP from what i remember but you can't put a price on art, certianly up there with a 355 and the DB7/9 in the beauty stakes IMO i mean even the shape of the doors is stunning. I'll settle for a Brera though, given the residuals on recent alfa's i'll wait a while for my own little masterpiece

Duuh.. the production Brera is like 90% the same with the concept model..
Uuufff the Alfa-bosses are giving their fans a really reaaally hard time with the 8C Comp.. With the Nuvola we knew that it wouldnt reach production. With the Brera things were kinda more complicated.. But the story with the 8C is heart-dangerous.. The concept was present in virtually every serious autoshow over the globe, Alfa dealers all over the world were taking pre-orders, then rumous said that it wasnt going to be produced, then rumours said that it was going to be produced, then the first conept scetches of the 149 were released and rumours started saying again that the 8c was just a conecpt, and then all of the sudden the 8C Spider appeared... SO WHAT IS GOING ON?... We, the dedicated Alfisti from all over the globe LUST this car... I think and this is more like a desire that the 8C will be produced. I mean think, who would have thought that the Brera would reach prod?..
