I tried a few times, with nothing else running, and the results ranged from 300 to 600
It should be around 600, but 300??? how did they get that result?

A 2mbit line?!?! What isp do you have? I'm thinking it's not TPSA...
Zig zag perhaps? I had them for a while but they overcharge a bit...

dslreports.com isn't ad either. They have a variety of tests you could run, and it tells you how to improve your connection and what not. Although I've never really noticed a difference after doing what it recommends.
