Grand Prix Retro 2005: 74 high-res pics, odies and less old
Time for a new update on my website! There are too many events I can barely keep up, so I need to speed up, compared to the regular 5 days schedule.. and the street sightings need to be put aside for now (800+ pics in the queue right now)..
This week end a couple Ferrari events.. next one more Lambo...
So let's see this GP Retro 2005
The old JW members will maybe remember the pics from 2004 (Bugatti EB110SS for instance)... well, this 2005 edition was a bit different, no idea how, but way less Ferraris for instance and less cars in a general way. Less ppl too, like going downhill, but it was a marvellous day and some nice pics turned out..
between the cars you will see in this update: F308, F348, Lambo Espada, Maserati 8C, Maserati Khamsin, A110 Apline, Cobra Replica, Vette...
But also a marvellous Gransport and Spyker C8 Spyder
CLick the pics for the whole lot

Some really nice cars, but some strange ones too
The MB 300SL in red is really sexy! It should be quite rare in this color....
I had never seen a convertible Citroen DS. And that Amphicar is really really ugly. Is that a boat or something ?

Oh I love the Gransport, black is the perfect colour for it. The Spyker also is damn stunning, but for the money it wouldn't be my first choice.
Do you know if those 911 2.7 RS's are the real thing?
What about those 'Speedy Garage' stickers on a couple of the cars, is that a dealership?
Thanks for the (early) update.

Love the Gransport but the front decal isnt too hot on the stock car. The old Maser racer is a nice sight to see as well. Spyker is a beautiful car but not my first choice either. and those 911 2.7's are sexy.

Man TT, sharpest pics on the net you can see are yours, very clear, very sharp and great colors. Professional work! GTV, 308GTS and 356 are my favorit
Thanx for pics TT!

Nice spyker. Pretty cool cars. Awesome car sightings though. I'm moving to Paris, just because of all these cars that you get to see. I get lucky and see the occasional Ferrari, and Aston and what not. But you, that is like, oh another Enzo, cool, but ive already seen a million of those. Have you ever seen a McLaren F1, i really really want to see one of those in person.

Gorgeous pics TT.
The Spyker isn't really one of the nicest looking cars, but it looks stunning in the pics

Indeed, never seen a red 300SL before! And yes, the Ampicar is a little boat too

Can't be 100% sure about the RS and RSR but if they are listed like RS and RSR on the official book (like they were), it should mean something.
And yes, Speedy Garage is official Maserati and Spyker dealership in Lausanne where I saw my first Spyker in the real world, wich happens to be the same Spyder you see here (the first pics of it, in the dealership and outside, are queued )

In Paris there are plenty of cool cars, but I am not in Paris LOL, I am in Switerland, and yes, I saw already a Macca F1, sadly only a couple of crappy pics:
I just came back from a local meeting of the Ferrari Club of Switzerland and fuck me!! A preview in my signature, and once the 200 pics will be edited you will have a HIGE update to check out on my website

Some sensational event with a lot of rare cars. My favourites are the A110, the red Cobra (is it a real one?), the Lotus Europa, and the red SL. The panning shot of th GranSport is great btw!
And I'm already looking forward with a lot of drool to your Ferrari Club pics (I'm still editing the second halve of my local Ferrari Club event ).

Nope the Cobra is, like 99.9% of the times, a replica. A pretty nice one and the engine is far from a stock one. It was also the loudest Cobra replica I ever heard
