Link does not work for me, but i see the picture.

Young swedish car drove a loaned M5 and after a round about lost control of the car, that is what i understand from swedish forums. Dont know if it is the same car that was in the M5boards E55, Gallardo, koenigeggs pictures. There has been some speculation about a race, some people say he was racing against a Subaru, some say Saab (if it was was a Sabaru ) Car has been raced also against some tuned 745 Volvo, and it lost, anyway the volvo had some big tune, 500+hp and 12s 1/4s. This accident has been also in the swedish newspapers. Anybody that knows better may correct my misunderstandings, after all i talk swedish as my third language.

Some 18 year old moron that had borrowed the car and tried to impress his friends in the car. According to himself he was not driving above the speed limit (50km/h) when he lost control coming out of a roundabout. My guess is that he had ESP and tractioncontroll systems switched off and was a little too heavy on the gas coming out of the turn. Never underestimate 507bhp. No matter what we can all be pretty sure that this dude was driving well over his (and the speed) limit. Rumours has it that it's the same dude that wrote off an E46 M3 last summer.

Just look at the big chunk out of the rear wheel and think about 50 km/h.

apparently it was the son of the owner of a BMW dealership that did it. Looks like that's the last car he'll be taking

it was the son´s friend doing the driving, and i dont think they own a bmw dealership. The car is bought for a firm thou. I read somewhere that the owner used to have 645 before this car. And some car(possibly the M3) was loaned within last year and totalled also.

"the crash happend in norrköping sweden.. we were not racing. i picked up my friend at railway station and the took of to mcdonalds after that my friend turn off the Traction controll system whitout knowing it the we got over a corner and the front left tyre explode. we got the information from the computer in the bmw the black box. bmw them sefl got that information and when the tyre blow there were not much to do."

<-one of the guys in the car said that.
