Default Car art by ZfrkS62

Following topgeartom's lead, i've decided to post some of the artwork i've done over the years. This isn't all of it though as some of it is in faded pencil and won't show up unless it's scanned

i can take some closer shots of the individual peices if anyone wants, just let me know which one you want to see

the 666Z i did a few weeks ago. the small one in the bottom right corner of the first pic i did back in 2002. The 240-350 combo in the middle i did in 03 and the sketches below that one were done in HS.

jk dude

nice job, but one thing. in your drawing it looks more like a hatchback. none the less its 1k times better then i could do.
And i thought i was having issues getting the front end right I guess i had a bit more trouble with the back end than i thought too Knew i should have used colored pencils instead of oil crayons

hahaha, if i tried going straight to the crayons i'd have gone mad i usually start off with pencil sketches and make the suicidal decision to color it in later.

The 1964 Impala i did that is in the earlier pics was for art class in high school and that was also done in oil crayon.

I prefer the shading control of colored pencils, but the oil crayons seem to work better for cars.

have you tried using a combo of 2 or 3 techniques??

I would tell you to color the drawings with Adobe Illustrator, but you don't have a scanner and I don't have a clue of how to color there

hhm how are these things called... here are called "gises pastel" and a rough translation could be "pastel chalk", but I think they might be called pastel crayons.
similar to oil crayons, but just like chalks used in the blackboards...
