Oct 28-29: British weather/British cars: XJ220, DB7, Elise..
Well yesterday I tried to go to Geneva since another car sighter living there spotted a nice Gemballa GTR650 parked where the Laguna Seca II was time ago... I hoped to find it there again no lucky sadly.. and not many nice cars around, simply becuase it was a shitty day (early morning too)..
But well, shitty weather doesn't always mean shitty cars only
Exactly, because near the place where I always park my car I just got a fucking XJ220! Now, this is a rare sight on the road (especially since it had German plates, so it was driven quite a few km!), but on a rainy day it is even more surrealistic! And what a nice color it was! Marvellous! Sadly the vallets (is this the word for the guys working at an Hotel, dressed in green in my pics?) in front of that Hotel didn't seem really friendly! They are used to see me around by now I guess, and I am sure they don't give a fuck if I take pics of the lake, the cars or ladies panties, but the cars beeing owned by customers that may be easily "offpissable" , they probably prefer to act like that.. that's why I only got 4 pics and why a couple of them are kinda crap (I was too far away and there was not enough light for some proper shots w/o a tripod).. still worth the trip!
And considering today I got both a DB7 and an Elise, we can easily say that British weather drags out British cars
As always, click any of the pictures to be taken to the page with the whole set and the 1600x1200 versions
Let's start, in alphabetical order of course
Early morning today, luckily the sun managed to find a gap between the clouds to bless my pics with some nice light And no idea why, that parking lot usually completely full of cars was deserted only me and the DB7!
We will soon have the E60, the E39 is already pretty old, but the E34 is still fucking sexy as if it was released yesterday! This one is for sale
A sweet M3
Cute 328, another dude not scared to use his car when it is rainy!
And here is the highlight!
Halloween edition Elise Mk II
You can't go to Geneva and come back without at least a C4S picture I guess
Or Cayenne for that matter!

Well it is you living in Germany LOL.. I thought it was Köhln to tell you the truth, but really no idea. BTW, plates with that red part aren't temporary ones? (like on the white Maybach)

Köln, not Köhln
But it's probably Koblenz because the letter K is for the biggest city with a name in K, and I don't think Koblenz is bigger than Köln

great pics again TT....sure was a great sighting the xj220, something I'm sure doesn't even exist in Oz.
BTW, vallet is the right word but its spelt with only one 'l' not two...."valet".

Of course I could call it Hawaiian weather or something else, but I suppose it could create a bit of confusion "British weather" is an international dogma
