Hey guys, I attended the grand opening VIP party for the new Midtown dealership in Toronto which happened last thursday(sorry for the lateness, busy at work). 800 guests were expected to show up and the party took place inside, duh!?, the dealership. The main showroom, service bay, and the smart car section was opened up and was filled with guests. Anyways sad to say the SL65 that was there 2 weeks ago wasn't at the show but! the SLR was there(a gentleman that i met so happends to own the SLR that was being shown). Enough talkin, here are the pics...
Since it was a party, i had to show up in my nice new car *wink*...
no...this is not my car...its the 57 parked inside the dedicated service bay for the maybach and the SLR...its because of the extended wheelbase and extra weight of the vehicle...the lifts come up from the ground...btw, a true playa like me only sits in a 62 hahaha!!!
here's me sittin inside a 62...I'm busy on the fone, shhhh!!!

as i mentioned before, during the party they opened up the service bay as well for 'lounging' purposes...
Last but not least the new logo for the Mercedes window stickers...
The story behind this new logo is that, the daugher of either Carl Benz or Gottlieb Daimler had hand writen the word 'Mercedes' and gave it to her father, thus the logo...
By the end of the night, i had learnt a few interesting facts at the party...first, one of my good friend, one of the head of sales at MB Canada told me he has seen the 'pretty much' finalized version of the new ML(SWEET!!!), he also saw the upcoming designs of the new G...around 500 guest cars showed up to the party and it was a blast...
