American Muscle
My first car was a white 1971 Chevelle Malibu with a massive 307 ci engine. That baby pumped out 200 hp (when new, but I bought it off an old granny who only put 60 some thousand miles on it). It also had some sweet airshocks in the rear that you could hook up to an air pump and jack up the rear. After lifting it up would slide around corners like a banana slug on Teflon. Finally sold it to a middle aged woman who was craving a Chevelle and I moved on to something a little more muscly...
A 1970 'Cuda 340. Orange, with the obligatory faux 'Cuda hoodscoops. It had Torker intake, Mopar Camshaft, headers, and a slap stick shifter. It put out a little over 400 hp. Red line was around 7000 rpm and it could go 60 mph in first gear, 90 in second, and topped out around 115-120 in 3rd, peeling out at every shift, and, yes, it was an automatic. Currently sitting in the garage, collecting dust. Still start it up every once in a while and rattle some windows.

Muscle cars are the shiznit. Nothing like taking an old body, and cramming the largest possible motor into it. But my IDEAL car is a Muscle car with all of the modern technology incorperated into it. Sorta like that "Green Slime" vette off hotrod.com (that makes 600hp and gets 30mpg), but with an older body style preferably, and idealy a mopar body.

I wish I had hit it in there... She had a tongue like sandpaper though. The 'Cuda wasn't quite made for, uh, hitting space...
