Default Aug 20 - Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale, 996TT, SL55, Vettes

Of course the best catch for today was this... a stunning red/red "stripeless" Challenge Stradale!!!! Again in front of the dealership! Sadly it was already 6 pm.. not much sunlight.. slow shutter speed, no tripod (terrible!! LOL).. so not the best pics ever.. but still.. enjoy!!!!!

ALL THE PICS ARE CLICKABLE FOR 1600X1200 AND YOU ARE FREE TO POST THEM ELSEWHERE. You will need to re-host them though since JW doesn't allow remote linking!

Another couple of cars I got today:

Two Vettes, with and without the roof

This SL55 was waiting for me in a parking spot, I was slowly changing the setting of my camera when I heard its rumble LOL.. and I noticed there was a MILF inside! So sadly I could only take the pic while she was leaving

And lastly.. a 996TT with some nice rims!

I call this a pretty good day

looks like you had a pretty good day. those rims on the turbo are nice, i think the 360cs looks incomplete without the stripe

It's funny you say that. I think the stripe ruins it and prefer it without.

Looks like Euro spec Z51 Corvette coupe and US spec imported convertible.

Notice the narrow license plate with reverse lights and lack of rear lights in the ass cheeks as are shown on the coupe.

Coupe looks to have Z06 Ti round outlet tailpipes.. interesting. I cannot recall if the Commerorative Euro Z51 got the Ti mufflers.

Thanks everybody I'm one of those wich think the CS is better with no stripe less flashy.

Thanks RC for the Vettes' infos. Luckily in Switzerland we can have either a long or a short plate (as you can see in the two Vettes)... to put the long one on the cabrio would be terribly wrong lately Vetts are more and more common, probably just the summer as it is considered a rare supercar around here, not a "good bang for the buck" so ppl cherish it as they would with a Ferrari, or it is like that in most cases.. I wonder when I will spot the first C6 around here

Nice pics TT - we have a lot of Vettes here at work, an XKR, an XK8, an NSX, couple of other Trans Ams and Camaro SS's and assorted muscle cars (older ones). Not allowed to take pics at work though, alas, but I might try and get dispensation from security...It's only the car park after all.

Good spot on the vettes, RC, I didnt even know there was such a thing as euro spec.

As for the Stradale, agree completely with you TT, looks so much better without that stoopid stripe.

Yessir - thank the Eurospec police for the quiet stock Vette exhaust. They get the needed amber turn signals, space for wide plate (which moves the reverse lights into the tail light cluster) and the loss of red lense surface area with the moeved backup lights has those really ugly extra set of red tail lights (to meet Swiss and Germans regs I seem to recall) in the ass cheeks.

Europe would have got the Z06 - if only the Swiss and Germans did not have such strict noise regs among other things... (it wasn't emmisions - the Z06 exceeds even CARB regs in the US) - and duffing the pipes down would defeat the purpose of the car I guess..??

But without the stripe - how does the new CS owner show off the cars specialtiy and extra price to those non-gear heads at the Starbucks that he wants to one-up..

I would say it needs the stripe (it sure doesn't have performance on it's side..)
