Nice effects there TT, thanks. My dad's sister (or my aunty in other words ) in Germany owns an Audi 1.8T and he got to drive it on the autobahn last time he was there and was quite impressed with it.

Its best feature in my opinion was the talking navigation GPS system. it was the first time I was in a talking car to date and it's amazing its precision even when you take the car into the strangest places!!

I use a Canon Powershot Pro 1 very good point and shoot camera when you need a simple one, still good if you need to fiddle a bit with the settings.

Maybe too expensive ?
If I had to buy a new cam, it would be a Sony or your Powershot Pro 1

Yep maybe a bit to expensive, but I prefer to invest more money on a good camera that will be ok for some years than to buy a cheap one that maybe after a couple of years will feel outdated

Please explain what you did to get the streaking lights shots - the last 3 and the first two filters shots...

Well as for the streak lights, I just need to let the shutter open some seconds, 10 in my case. (BTW, all the night shots were taken with 8 or 10 seconds shutter setting, to let enough light in. of course if the car is moving you will obtain some nice effects ) Those are the last three shots. there is no filter involved, just longer exposure. Of course camera on a tripod in the pic #33 you will notice that actually I moved a bit the camera by mistake while starting the picture, ence a little strange movement also for lights that are fixed best idea is to start the pic with the timer as I did in the other cases or with the remote control
As for the first two pics after the riced out one, it's just a standard PS filter: filters > blur > radial blur > zoom

I love photography. When I can get around to it, I want to put up some of my pics.
