There is a thread on fchat about this - these are the colours of cars that left the factory originally.
There is also talk of extra F50s made after the first 349  I certainly didn't know that

What about this - from an F50 owner (and Dingo's mate)

There were an additional 30 cars where the S/N wasn't known at that time. So that makes a potential total of 398 F50's.
Additionally, there are apparently as many as four cars that share S/N 99999, all of them prototypes.
I wonder how many Enzo's they REALLY made? Were any RHD examples built for favoured clients?

So 398?
I'm not sure about his thoughs on RHD Enzo's - never spotted AFAIK :bah:

I think Ferrari had to satisfy its most loyal clients so they say it is limited to 349 but they produced more, who can verify ??

Very interesting. My favorite is the yellow, but I had no idea about the white-ish being available.

If you mean Argento Nurburgring, then it's actually metallic sliver

I tend to believe what he says, that guy knows his stuff (ferrari history)! He could (did) chew my ear off about all things F50, and hes done his research.

^ Well as an owner, he has no reason to talk shit like some others - it is interesting that Ferrari proffesses to make a limited edition car, then builds a further 50 cars - a bit sly for a large company, but it's a charming feature IMO :good:

They also realize that it would be incredibly hard for anyone to track down the true number. And who knows- as someone stated, maybe they had 50 more people they owed political/financial favors to. Besides- its an extra $25million for Ferrari to pocket.

Unfortunately I don't think Ferrari make 100% profit on each F50.
