How many GT3 RS's are built?
I've a question: how many GT3 RS's did Porsche exactly built?
Cause, when they released the car to the public, the press folder stated Porsche had the intention to only build 200 GT3 RS's. But the car was/is a huge success. So did Porsche only made 200 of them? Does anybody has an idea?

I don't think the RS was a ful production car but the GT3 was and you could get all the options to make it an RS but I thought the official RS was a lower production number car.

Yes I also think it was born as a limited production idea, but not like say an F50 or Enzo I think they were and are ready to adapt the production to the request.. and considering how many GT3 RS are always at trackdays and meetings, I doubt it will be a VERY limited production

Ive no clue, once its not strange that a brand launches a limited edition of a certain model, and due to the bigger request on the market than expected, the brand decided to increase the number of units of that model to be produced.....although its not a supercar, firstly the Renault Clio Williams was expected to be produced 5000 of them (the minimum number of cars required in order to be homologated a model as a group A)....and the end of the day the number of produced car did increase quite enormously....we had a similar case with the Lancia Deltona or Lancia Delta Integrale EVO from the end of 91.

Idd, on a bigger trackday you see loads of GT3 RS. So I can't imagine they only produced 200 of them. But the the car isn't listed any more on the official Porsche websites and you can only find the figure '200' in the press releases of Porsche.

I would imagine that 200 is right..i did read that in more than two places ...and when you think about it none of them came to the U.S. except for one that I saw in du pont registry..so they are all in europe..that is prob pretty accurate..btw there were around 1200-1300 GT3s made if im not mistaken..

....sorry for not being able to answer earlier ops:
so, there´re definitely way more than 200 GT3 RS, can´t name a specific number but i´d say something around 400+
at least 200 went to germany, 100 RHD to UK, ...
something like that...

Ok, thanks you for you're answer.
No problem it was a little bit late, since you have a lot of Porsche work to do

Here in Portugal... my dad saw one with red rims, and saw pictures of one in Estoril with blue rims... so, at least two!
