looks more like a new vx220 to me, but pretty much the same thing or is it to big for that? hard to tell. Certainly looks a bit more conservative it its styling to me from what we can see. Thanks for the pics, be intriging if anyone knows anymore. So far i'm not to keen on it

is this supposed to be the new 2+2 that we have been hearing about? and is that supposed to replace the esprit?

well in any event it looks pretty good and it has very strong ties to the current elise styling wise. nice find

The front end looks like a older style viper. The differences are noticable but still look's good.

The hood, tailend, and headlights seem to be more vauxhall than anything but the roofline is all Lotus. Very interesting, thanks TT.

JiggaStyles09, this is not the Esprit replacement, and yes it is the 2+2 you've heard so much about

Its likely to have a 2.0 Vauxhall engine, and since the VX220 is being canned at the end of the year, they will lose their big rival there.
Some people say it will carry the Europa badge, but I think it will carry a new badge to its own.

and a little extra bit of Lotus info if anyone is interested, the new Elise S3 project is well underway... but thats all i'm going to say for the moment 8) oh... and the Esprit replacement may have either a Merc AMG V8, altohugh very unlikely, a more possible engine choice would be the Toyota powerplant... VVTL-i V8 anyone?

Esprit production completely stopped back in 2003 I think, which was when I started working at B&C (back then only part time).
The only models in the Lotus Line up are Elise and Exige, but soon the Elise model line-up will be cut to only the 111R which scraps the K-series, so the introduction of newer models will be welcome!
