Hate to disagree here - but anyone who squanders such opportunity, talent and support - only to suck on the business end of a shotgun by their own doing deserves what they got.

No sympathy for the "angst filled artiste" from me.

I wonder how many depressed teens saw his actions as justification for their own death wishes...

Watch out RC45, there coming for you.

I don't like his music, but I don't come here and say he deserves it.

They can come - it is not about his music - that is art for people to appreciate on their own - and respect to peoples tastes.

This is about glorifying someone's suicide - anytime someone takes their own life in this way, it is the most selfish, mean and cruel thing they could do to the people around them.

And no amount of praising there footsteps upto the day of the deed will detract from that.

Chalk me up as an ex-fan.

But I'll leave the remaining loyalists to remember him how they choose...

I sure hope he found the "answer" to life he was looking for in his own death...

For the first time, you actually got a good point there, I'll have to agree with you on that.

Rest in peace. He was a great musician. When it comes to suicide, I have no respect for anyone who has done something like that!~ Also RIP Senna!

I'm totally appaled by suicides, and glorifying is saddening.

Cobain is said to have had horrendous pain all day....you just don't know what drove him to do what he did...

Since the topic was opened, well, let's try to just consider the fact he is dead and avoid to debate on the "how", flaming allover.

but to argue that kurt wasn't a great song writer would but like saying hendrix wasn't a great guitar player. Kurt does go down as one of the greats and its sad to see the way that his life was so tragically ended.

I know it's only a rumour, and it's been rejected in court, but people still say his wife shot him, so she could have all his money.
