The Z06 seems to struggle to keep ahead of the GT3 through the corners, and it doesn't look like the vette driver is taking it easy... Obviously, on the straights, it is a different story .

The Porsche driver is definitely the better driver, the corvette is running wide in quite a few corners. Great clip nonetheless.

The Vette driver is obviously not as familiar with the NS; and found himself often suddenly moving over to the wide side of a corner because he didn't set himself up properly.

He also was regularly turning in late, and missing the corner apex entirely. The GT3 driver didn't do perfectly; but was far more familiar with the track. Both cars erring on the side of braking early rather than late... although the GT3 was braking later. I definitely chalk this up to driver experience.

Going through the Fox Hole, the Vette got a little swirly

A very nice video by a pair of enthusiasts in their sports cars

I am also sure that the Vette driver got annoyed and distracted by the red Porsche following so closely for the entire duration of the lap.
