how to get cops to your house

A man noticed that the light in his garden shed was on. When he opened the back door to go turn off the lights,he saw people stealing things from the shed.
He phoned the police and was asked, " Is someone in your house?"
The man said no, and was told that all patrols were busy. The irate homeowner counted 30 and dialled the police again. "I just called because there were people in my shed. You don't have to worry now-- I've shot them all." Then he hung up.

Within five minutes, three police cars and an ambulance, screeched to a halt in front of the house. The police caught the burglars.
" I thought you said you'd shot them," one officer said sternly.
" I thought you said there was nobody available," the man replied.

haha yeah the lack of service from our policemen is pretty sad. when my truck was wrecked it took over 45 minutes for them to respond after the phone call. pretty sad!!

that was hilarious I always see the cops around here just parked somewhere but probably still not available.
