Anyone into poker?
Don't know if any of you guys are into poker, but I've just finished building my own 10 seater poker table... I'm really happy with it and the table has already been used!
There's nothing quite like playing poker on a pimp table. 8)
Anyone else use a poker table? I'd be interested to see the different designs...
And just for interest sakes, how many JW memebers play poker?
Here some pics of mine...

I like to play to big money - around here it's only 5-10$ buy-ins which is dumb

I love poker and know how to play it. No idea why, I never play though.
There is a casino in Lugano. Caribbean Stud every day and Texas Hold'em all tournaments the WE. I'd like to go, but hell I am lazy

I can play poker, but I hardly ever play card games and rarely poker at that. I have a friend who makes lots of money playing poker. It's his primary source of income.
And that is a fine table!

Funny how everyone "knows someone making a living playing poker".
Strange you never hear from anyone who knows "the other 7 losers who never make money" playing poker.
It's an ok game, but liek all "chance based events" it produces more losers than winners, but sedom will the losers announce this fact.

I was into it, playing a lot on the internet... But then I got quite bored, and now I only play occasionally, about once every second month...

Well, that's unsurprising. I wouldn't be too comfortable flaunting my loser status.

The thing I like about poker is that it's less of a "chance based event" then some other games, because if you play your game right you can win the hand while having a worse hand then your opponent.
Nice table btw R8audi!

Thanks guys. If anyone is interested in building their own poker table, I got detailed instructions from this site.
http://www.junell.cc/pokertable/
I'm sure lots of people think why build a table when you can buy one? but, I must admit I like being "hands on" and it was actually quite a fun little project.

Yeah, totally. You can raise wisely and appropriately and beat better hands. Unfortunately, that sort of skill has eluded me.

Whoa... nice table.
Poker's huge here. But everyone only plays Texas Holdem. Like 9-ball billiards. So everyone and their mother (literally) plays poker.
I agree with everyone who said that poker is less of a chance game than others. It's really a psychology game. I've won quite a few hands with crap cards (2 of spades and an 8 of diamonds... and the table had 10's and kings laid out), just because I knew how to bluff people.
