Yeah, the perpetual ads don't really add to the excitement. Granted, American Football does seem to be quite interesting when stuff actually happens.

Not really. They wear half their body weight of body armour. Other football codes have no such armour, and more blood is spilt.

The fact that in association football, there is always a chance of something fantastic happening, makes it more exciting. You don't want to go away. With American Football, all you have to do is watch the game when the quarterback makes his play and you can do other stuff in between.

^Haha! But sticking to football, I find rugby league, rugby union and Aussie Rules just as physical but far more entertaining. They are (except for union) also available free-to-air, unlike gridiron.
