Why can't you lift with the same muscles everyday?

Because you're tearing down muscle fibre - which needs time to re-build in order to make you more prepared for strenuous activity the next time --- ie; stronger


In other words, the body needs to heal

When you talk about doing damage is that with all weights or only really heavy ones? and does that mean its best to only lift every other day?
