This is pimp. Let it buffer up and at 4 seconds, hit the GO! button:

I dunno if it's fake, looks real to me. But damn, it would be pimp to see Google Maps of GiS2 with the Escort and Supra...!

Rendezvous is not SHITE! and also not staged. you can tell by the speed of the other cars in the vid that it is not fake. rendezvous whoops GIS.

Well i hope you dont drive a car on the road then, because your perception of closing speed and road speed of a car at 140 mph is more than 50% out. lol

The 'Long drag' down the Avenue Foch is about 1.25 Km long (according to google map), from the video it takes the car roughly 34 seconds being VERY generous to make that drive according to the video.
Do the maths and that equates to him having to have an average speed of about 84 kph on that straight to be able to do it in that time. Now a ferrari 275 GTB flat out is going 250-275 kph i would say and seeing as the car enters the straight at speed not a standstill its gunna be averaging a LOT more than 84 kph if this was REAL!!!! Plus he enters the roundabout at the end of the strait after barely touching the brakes according to the sound!!!
MY GOD ITS A FAKE!!!!!!

Ferrari 275 GTB with a 'gyro-stabilized' camera mounted to its front bumper --> 2CV with a videocam duct taped to its front bumper

this is what happend, it is fake, there is a movie of him explaining what they did, and shinigami explained it:

''The driver of the car, was no other then Claude Lelouch himself. The woman at the end was his wife. The car he drove was the same Mercedes Benz you see him drive in this film, for a very simple reason. He needed a car which would go over the gravel roads with minimum vibrations to the camera. Once everything was filmed, he drove the same route again, this time with a Ferrari because he wanted to overlap the sound of a powerful vehicle to give a sensation of speed and noise to the film.''

here's the movie about it that vincentblack posted a time ago:
