Only accessible to the very rich and famous. Great if you live 'over there'. And I'm sure the track days are real high in price as well.

hmm, looks like the marketing guys at ferrari found a new way to make money and partially dilute the brand name. i somehow think enzo would be spinning in his grave if he knew. though, i wouldnt mind going to it if i had the chance.

Something like the Ascari Race Resort in Spain would be a better idea than the commercialised, glitzy new-money Dubai setting IMO

Abu Dhabi is probably one of the newer large markets with loads of potential customers. It's all about the marketing these days...

Talk about corruption, conflict of interest and blatant materialism...

His Highness Sheikh Abdulla Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Information and Culture, Mr Jean Todt, General Manager Ferrari, Mr Ahmed Ali Al Sayegh, Chairman ALDAR Properties, His Highness Sheikh Sultan Bin Tahnoon Al Nayhan, Chairman Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority.
ALDAR's Chairman Ahmed Ali Al Sayegh said: "Mubadala Development company's purchase of Ferrari shares earlier this year allowed ALDAR an opportunity to forge a relationship with one of the world's leading brands."
Looks like when there is cash to be made, palms to grease and bribes to be taken by locals, Western Europe are welcomeed with open arms by the Arab world...

... and I am guessing that the mainstream middle and near east are ok with blatant oppulant materialism now....

I know, whenever I see pictures of an arab guy dressed in a white towel driving a Ferrari Enzo it just seems out of place. They've come quite a ways from camels . Doesn't all this materialism kind of turn them into infidels. WWAD; What Would Allah Do.

I think that it should be considered treason to go to these places do to there ties to terrorism.

No more so than any other "Middle Easterner" seen on TV burning the US flag and chanting anti-US anti-Bush slogans.

This isn't the time or place - but don't try make out the middle east is a peaceful paradise with no anti-western sentiment.

At least admit it exists and move on.
