Words do not describe how hard this car hauls ass. Never really got the respect for being the first 200mph supercar (everyone loves the F40 thats why ). Damn I love it!

The Yellowbird is legendary...even by today's standards it's an amazing car. I don't think the F40 overshadows the Yellowbird in enthusiast worlds...but to a lay person, people know the F40 for the style and the fact that it's a Ferrari...
There was a 5th Gear episode where they were doing the Lotus 200mph project...and Tiff participated in a VMAX event. When one guy's RUF 996 Turbo wasn't fast enough....he dug back a century and pulled out...a Yellowbird...that...is....BADASS....

I took it to mean 330 kilometers per hour...my bad. I guess that's the length of the run it did? 205mph is doable for a Yellowbird under the right circumstances...and I couldn't really see the speedo exactly...I thought it was hitting 330/205?
Edit: I just watched that episode of 5th Gear with the Lotus and VMAX, and Tiff said they had 2 miles to make their run....and I just re-watched the clip...it says km/h:
330 kilometer/hour = 205.052 493 438 mile/hour (mph)
Woo Woo!

Beautiful!
Probably a car that would scare anyone of us 'enthusiasts' to death.

funny thing... RUF is very quick to say theyre NOT a tuner. Even thought they take a porsche and modify it, they do it to an extent that the German government has deemed RUF as a car manufacturer.

I'm pretty sure Porsche supplies RUF with the molds and materials to pretty much completely assemble the cars themselves.
